First thing\u2019s first, you\u2019ll need a Wikipedia account:<\/h3>\n

Getting started is as easy as 1,2,3…<\/p>\n

  1. Create a Wikipedia account<\/strong><\/a>
    \nYou should ideally create a Wikipedia account at least 4 days before a Wikipedia editing event<\/strong> as new users cannot create new pages on the English Wikipedia until their account has been registered for 4 days and they have accrued over 10 edits.<\/li>\n
  2. If you are logged in to Wikipedia, join the Celtic Knot Translation workshop page here<\/a>. (Click ALLOW to permit the Dashboard page to interact with your Wikipedia account).<\/li>\n
  3. Enable the Content Translation<\/strong><\/a> feature on English Wikipedia. Scroll to the Content Translation option on the Beta menu<\/a> in Preferences, tick the box to enable it and click Save <\/strong>in the bottom left corner.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Important! <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Please note, on the English Wikipedia the Content Translation tool is restricted to editors that are extended-confirmed (those with 30 days tenure and at least 500 edits). <\/span>So you may need to contact an Wikipedia administrator with a list of usernames ahead of time to get new users extended-confirmed.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
