{"id":60,"date":"2018-09-18T12:03:06","date_gmt":"2018-09-18T12:03:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thinking.is.ed.ac.uk\/professional-blogging\/?p=60"},"modified":"2020-01-08T16:55:47","modified_gmt":"2020-01-08T16:55:47","slug":"linking-your-blog-to-your-edweb-profile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thinking.is.ed.ac.uk\/professional-blogging\/2018\/09\/18\/linking-your-blog-to-your-edweb-profile\/","title":{"rendered":"Linking your blog to your EdWeb profile"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you have an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wiki.ed.ac.uk\/display\/edweb\/Profile+page\">EdWeb profile<\/a>, you can now link your new blog to your profile by following the simple steps outlined below.\u00a0 If you do <em>not<\/em> have an EdWeb profile and want to set one up, information for both staff and students is provided here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wiki.ed.ac.uk\/pages\/viewpage.action?spaceKey=edweb&amp;title=Editing+your+profile\">Editing your profile.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>1. Go to any University of Edinburgh webpage, e.g. www.ed.ac.uk, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the <strong>CMS login<\/strong> link on the bottom right hand side of the page.<\/p>\n<p>2. Log in with your EASE login and password.<\/p>\n<p>3. Your name should appear in a red banner at the top of the page.\u00a0 Click on your <strong>name<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>4. Click on the <strong>View profile<\/strong> link that appears below your name.<\/p>\n<p>5. Click the <strong>View profile page<\/strong> link.<\/p>\n<p>6. Click the <strong>New draft<\/strong> button at the top right of the page.<\/p>\n<p>7. Click the <strong>Contact details<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p>8. Scroll down to the <strong>Extra details<\/strong> tab at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n<p>9.
