Hear from, and engage with, the specialists tackling the art historical, curatorial and conservation challenges that this high profile gift has presented.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/edin.ac\/2lfJomO\">Board Game Jam: The Expansion <\/a><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re taking board game jam design skills to the next level. We\u2019re looking at prototyping and play testing as students take existing games from previous jams and give them an upgrade.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.festivalofcreativelearning.ed.ac.uk\/crowdsourcing-conservation-0\">Crowdsourcing Conservation<\/a><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>A two-day event where 30 students will aim to rehouse section II of the Laing manuscripts &#8211; the University&#8217;s most important written collection.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.festivalofcreativelearning.ed.ac.uk\/designing-you-collaborative-design-techniques-better-student-experiences\">Designing for you: Collaborative design techniques for better student experiences<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>Collaborative design workshop to highlight the needs of students and look at how different course structures, layouts and technologies could deliver better experiences.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.festivalofcreativelearning.ed.ac.uk\/design-future-digital-education\">Design the Future of Digital Education<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Automated tutors? Boredom sensors in lecture theatres? Analytics dashboards to help students map learning? Video-making instead of exams? Augmented reality lectures? Digital dissertations? All these aspects of digital teaching are already possible: but do we want them?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.festivalofcreativelearning.ed.ac.uk\/wikipedia-editathon-gender-global-health-and-justice\">Gender, Global Health and Justice Wikipedia Editathon<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Women across the University who work on issues related to gender, global health and\/or justice are invited to participate in a day-long Wikipedia edit-a-thon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.festivalofcreativelearning.ed.ac.uk\/history-medicine-2017-wikipedia-editathon\">History of Medicine Wikipedia Editathon<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Focusing on areas under-represented on Wikipedia such as: the celebrating History of Nursing as it celebrates its 60<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary, the Scottish Women\u2019s Hospital, the Polish School of Medicine and more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.festivalofcreativelearning.ed.ac.uk\/making-history-feminist-craft-project-0\">Making history: a Feminist Craft Project<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Historically, and in the present day, women&#8217;s achievements and contributions to society have been erased from history &#8211; let&#8217;s change that! Join us at the Lothian Health Services Archive to explore our materials on women&#8217;s history, and make our own history through a crafty zine-making session.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.festivalofcreativelearning.ed.ac.uk\/mojo-and-beyond-guide-mobile-film-making\">MOJO and Beyond (A guide to mobile film making)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>An introduction to the mobile film making kit available for loan with a show and tell.
